A brand new school in 2015, Tl’etinqox ?esgul offers a safe, clean, bright, and inclusive learning environment for all. With certified Tsilhqot’in Language and Culture instruction twice daily, small class sizes, one-to-one support, the latest education technology, fibre-optic internet speeds, research-based direct instruction, a certified in-house Speech/Language Assistant, and the support of the First Nations Education Steering Committee (FNESC) and First Nations Schools Association (FNSA) team of education professionals, Tl’etinqox School is equipped to support, and foster growth, in each and every student individually.
As certified by the First Nations School Association, we pride ourselves on a commitment to lifelong learning and ensuring our staff have the highest standards for themselves and their students, with a dedication towards individual and community growth.
Tl’etinqox ?esgul currently offers Aboriginal Head Start, K4-Grade 10, and Adult Education programming; with the addition of grades 11 and 12, and the ability to offer a full BC Dogwood Diploma, by 2025.
Our Adult Education program provides pathways towards Adult Dogwood certification, life and employability skills, and connections and pathways towards trades through a partnership with the Construction Foundation of BC.
